SkitLite Halo Trio Return to HCS Gfinity

Tue 15th Aug 2017 - 4:03pm SkitLite SkitLite Halo Trio Return to HCS Gfinity

It is with great pleasure to announce that our Halo team will be making the long trip from Sweden all the way to London, England to participate in the upcoming $25,000 Open tournament where the top 3 teams get the opportunity to attend Dreamhack Denver in America for a further $25,000.

The roster consists of the original Trio Blanjd, Beetly and Quicksilver with new additions 'Legend Graham' and coach 'OllyJ'. This lineup already has a lot of experience and are no strangers to London as the original three attended under SkitLite last year where they managed to become the best open bracket team in the competition only falling to professional teams that competed at the world championships later that year.

The squad will be competing at the HCS London Gfinity from the 15th September to the 17th. This will be a SkitLite LAN debut for Christopher "Legend Graham" Graham and also a coaching debut for Oliver "OllyJ" Loughton which promises to be an exciting first event with SkitLite.

The squad were in action yesterday competing in a small online tournament (Splintr Cup #18) and finished 2nd. The team are currently making sure they get the hours in to make sure they are prepared for what is going to be an awesome event featuring the new Gfinity Arena.

Christopher "Legend Graham" Graham had this to say upon joining SkitLite;

"I'm honored for the chance to play for skitlite this upcoming season! I've always been a top scandinavian player but i see myself as underrated. To join back with my old teammates and friends for this upcoming season, I guarantee we will bring fire"

Theo Daffurn, SkitLite CEO;

"I am extremely excited for the two new additions of Chris and Olly and I think we can expect them to make some noise in a very competitive European scene. I have faith that the squad can rise above many teams and cause upsets. I think they have the experience, temperament and also the attitude to go far, not just on Halo 5 but future titles as well. Working with Lucas, Oskar and Sam has always been an absolute pleasure with their honesty, professionalism and skill. Long may that continue."
